Abstract

Spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) is characterized by orthostatic headache, low cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure and typical imaging finding. The leakage of cerebrospinal fluid is most common cause of SIH. The typical clinical
symptom is orthostatic headache that is worsened by sitting or standing. But several reports suggest that SIH can present with variable clinical features other than orthostatic headache. We report a patient diagnosed with spontaneous intracranial hypotension which initially presented as a cough headache.
